A few months ago, luckily we were, Annaïck and me, couchsurfing in a beautiful home !
Phil, a very nice man, received us like queens ...


Every day I think of good times spent there ... Time passed and only now (while I'm in hospital) I start to get photo albums of our genius travel in England.

COUCHSURFING CHEZ LES LÉONARDS !

CLEDER (France)
 Thank you to Anavari and Jean Michel for welcoming us into their beautiful sweet home, 
 typical farmhouse at North Finistère in Brittany where was also 3 lovelies kitten !
We met Anavari and her husband, professor of english then breton, active retired
and met Fanch, talented local poet french and breton !

Near the house, fields of artichokes !

Variety "Small purple"
(originating in the Mediterranean region).
But you should know that the artichoke
"Camus de Bretagne"
is the traditional variety of Leon !

             Near house : a shallots field hand planted !

There I created an experimental recipe from "gooseberries"

• 250 g strawberries from Plougastel
• 2 spoonful soup red wine
• 200 g gooseberries
• 2 large fresh mint leaves chopped
• Sweeten to taste - Marinate in refrigerator for ½ hour
• Serve chilled ! 

Later, we saw gooseberries for sale in a farm shop for £ 4 for 

1 kg ! Good information for the wholesale producer Breton CS !

We are going to visit my niece Enora, english internship for 3 months in CLEVEDON near BRISTOL and also visit my nephew at OXFORD where Jonathan (engineer) continued his studies and preparing thesis. He remains England for another 2 or 3 years.

That's why my friend Annaïck and I are going to have pleasure to visit this part of England for a week. Thank you COUCHSURFING !

TRIP 2013 - QUINSON FAMILY IN ENGLAND

OXFORD, what a nice place !

Oxford, so legendary !

OXFORD : one of the famous cinema immortalized mess !

But where is Harry POTTER ? We never see him !                                                   
                          But there is our dear QUINSON son, my nephew !

OXFORD : also eat with your eyes !

is my dear nephew Jonathan !

OXFORD : young academics held regulatory ...
it does not stop clowning around to lighten the mood !

My nephew Jonathan is engineer (LYON & PARIS)
He obtained his Masters in Chemistry in 2011 with the highest distinction
at Imperial College LONDON (LONFTRD)

He continued his "high" studies at OXFORD :
research chemicals, materials industry, etc. ... for thesis (Doctor of ...) 

MY DEAD DAUGHTER CORALIE WAS IN ENGLAND !

Coralie loved London !
Coralie was born on 1973 !

I remember... when I visited London by bus with
my dear Coralie died in 1993 at the age of 20
after long and painful illness ! Rest in peace !
